Jack Vettriano painting unveiled as 2010 image
The 2010 Christmas card from First Minister Alex Salmond will feature an image created by Jack Vettriano and will benefit four Scottish charities.
Let’s Twist Again, featured left, was unveiled for the first time at an event at the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh this evening.
The painting has been donated by the artist and the proceeds from the auction of the work later this month, will be split between Bethany Christian Trust, Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, Quarriers and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Heartbreak Publishing has produced a limited edition print of Let’s Twist Again, all proceeds of which will also be donated to the four charities. Limited to an edition of only 25 prints, each of the four charities will have six prints to sell and the 25th print will be retained by the First Minister’s office.
A framed display copy of the print, ‘Let’s Twist Again’, will be on display at Heartbreak from Tuesday 7th December 2010 and will be available to order on-line from Heartbreak Publishing.
